Oak Park Native 

Our vibrant yard contains 75+ plants, trees, grasses, sedges, and shrubs which are native to the savannas, prairies, and woodlands of Illinois. We also have a small pond and a bioswale for drainage efficiency.

Native habitat creation and management is possible, even in Chicago's urban areas. Since 2016, I've learned much about what is necessary for a healthy, productive, and flourishing habitat that benefits native pollinators and birds.
