This 1.5-liter brazier is perfect for braising in the oven or on top of the gas range. Season the pot before use for optimal results. If you are not familiar with cooking with clay, I suggest Paula Wolfert’s "Cooking with Clay" for recipes, history, and tips for using clay pots. This traditional unglazed pot is made of micaceous clay from the Manzano Mountains in New Mexico. It's is food-safe, oven-safe, and even stove-top safe. Not dishwasher safe! Please hand wash with mild detergent.
